FLAT TERREIN: arms should be bent at 90° angle.

UPHILL TERREIN: shorten poles in order to have a valid support in front of you

DOWNHILL: adjust poles in order to mantein an upright position.

TRAVERSE: adjust the two poles at different lenghts (shorter the one in the uphill position and longer to the downhill position).
